Candle Making Supplies

When making candles at home, the most important thing is to choose quality materials.

Soy wax is a popular choice for candle making because it is a natural and renewable resource that burns cleaner than other types of wax. Soy wax candles also burn slower, resulting in a longer-lasting candle. Additionally, soy wax is biodegradable and can be cleaned up easily with soap and water.

If scenting your candle, it is also recommended to use the highest quality oils. We recommend doTERRA and our representative is:

Good quality wax dye is important for candle making because it affects the appearance of the finished product. Poor quality or improper dye can result in candles that are unevenly colored, have a dull or muddy appearance, or do not hold their color over time.

Don’t forget to properly maintain your wick before lighting your candle. Keep it trimmed to 1/4 inch to decrease soot. To avoid tunneling burn your cancels for 1 hour per 1 inch in diameter.
